Widely considered to be one of the parents of the modern battle royale, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds has come a long way since its days of fame in early access. Though the player count isn’t as high as it once was, PUBG has only improved on its mechanics since launch. It has stayed true to its identity and provides a challenging alternative to games like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone , where players can usually rack up eliminati
Vertigo is a fun map to play, but it seems like skipping Vertigo’s objective to eliminate the other team is easier. In the map Vertigo, one team is tasked with bombing a building that is under construction. The best CS: GO maps place importance on achieving the objective. With there are not many path options, each team usually faces each other head-on in a firefight. Vertigo is a beautiful map that is on top of a rooftop, but it has too many flaws to be considered one of CS: GO’ s most excellent m
Choosing to go to A or B may make the difference between losing a life and achieving the objective. Since the map Inferno has two spread out bomb sites, players on the defending side are well advised to place half their players at each site. Since planters can stick together and follow the same route, Inferno is deemed to be T sided. The map design of Inferno is not bad, but in practice, the map just misses the mark. Despite its flaws, people will continue to play and enjoy Infe

A controller won’t give anyone the upper hand. Ditch the controller! The lethargic movements of thumbsticks won’t provide the surefire accuracy to win matches. Counter-Strike 2 patch Notes: Global Offensive is the quintessential example of a game that works well with a keyboard and mo
Counter Strike ’s most famous assault rifle also received the Case Hardened skin in 2013. This version of the skin is similar to the one on the Karambit and features a bright yellow, blue, and purple coat of paint. Some would consider Cache to be the greatest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive map . The ingenuity behind Cache allows for sniping, but not a lot. Watch out for mid in Cache because that is where snipers like to camp. For the most part, battles on the map Cache are fought in close-quarters. With a shipping container placed beside A site, Cache can end with intense firefights where members of the attacking team try to stall for time, hiding behind the shipping container. The catwalk behind B is often a good place to camp. A’s bomb site is also close-quarter battles, so you may want to stock up on grena
Marble Fade is one of the most colorful skins in the game, and it looks stunning when it comes on the Karambit knife. This unique skin dropped in 2015 along with the Full Spectrum update. It coats the blade in an assortment of colors — red, yellow, and blue — that form a smoky patt
Although many players prefer a controller for The Elder Scrolls , the keyboard and mouse combination is more intuitive. As a game with a variety of spells to switch between, the keyboard and mouse are incompara
Half-Life fans are a dedicated bunch. Even in the absence of content from Valve , the series has thrived with mods, community content, and unofficial games such as Lambda Wars and Black Mesa. Half-Life: Alyx didn’t fully reignite the torch, but it helped to keep the flame fans have managed to carry all these years flickering. There were community forums of like-minded individuals sharing each other’s work, news websites specifically catering to Valve fans after Episode 3 faded into obscurity, and then there was LambdaGeneration.
The Bayonet’s Crimson Web skin was released in 2013, and it’s since been one of the most valuable knife skins. It gives this knife’s blade a bright red coat of paint and tops it off with an elegant black web patt
Someone purchased the skin for $910.33 on the 3rd of January. That’s an insane amount that only skin collectors and die-hard fans would be willing to pay. What’s incredible is that the weapon may have been sold for upwards of $7000 on third party websites , where sellers can cash in the mo
Hunt: Showdown is one of the most unique first-person shooters on the market. It tasks players to go into a monster-filled 1870s bayou with nothing but break-action shotguns, lever-action rifles, and many other historical weapons . It plays unlike nearly any other competitive shooter, as it lacks fully automatic weapons and prioritizes patience and accuracy when fir
