Dream has already faced a few other controversies over the last few weeks, including being stripped of his speedrun record on Minecraft following allegations that his incredible luck was just a little too incredible to be credible. As catalogued by Twitter user defnoodles , hardcore Dream “stans” have since taken matters into their own hands, when Dream posted a picture of his kitchen to one of his Twitter accounts (whether they were motivated by his cheating or by his face reveal is unknown). Using online real estate marketplace Zillow, Twitter user mazouwu managed to figure out Dream’s precise address and offered the information to anyone who asked before deleting all of the content from their acco

The Caves & Cliffs update was announced via a detailed and thorough livestream at the beginning of October. The expansion was revealed to include a completely revamped cave system with new biomes and generation guidelines. On top of that, the update will bring new mobs, blocks, crafting materials, ore, and much more. There’s even a fully functional archeology sys
YouTuber and **Minecraft ** speedrunner Dream has been doxxed, in yet another blow to the controversial streamer over the past weeks. The doxxing came about after a picture of Dream’s kitchen posted on his Twitter account, which was apparently enough for a few obsessed fans to use to find his personal information and location, a testament to the often destructive power of the internet as a tool for online stalking and harassm
Of course there are “fans” out there who claim that Dream deserved the doxxing because of his refusal to reveal his face after actively hyping it up, but that’s a toxic and bizarrely entitled mindset. Dream has the same rights to his privacy as anyone else, regardless of his online presence, and any punishment he deserves for cheating at Minecraft is already being dealt with. Dream is no saint in either respect, but no one deserves to be doxxed , Nintendo Switch patch notes|https://switchmixzone.com/ especially when such instances can often be followed with personal threats and even violence against the victim or their friends and family. Hopefully this won’t be the case with Dream , and his story should serve as a warning to other streamers that obsession and ingenuity are often bedfellows thanks to the power of the
While the anticipated Caves & Cliffs expansion won’t be out in its full glory until sometime next year, Mojang has announced that a couple of minor new features included in the update are already available for the latest beta of Minecraft Bedrock Edition . These include powder snow and one of the new mobs – adorably offensive goats. These mischievous animals will jump around mountain areas, but what’s important is their angry behavior as they are capable of charging into other mobs and players. Upon the collision, goats send their victims in quite a freefall, which might be especially dangerous on the edge of a cliff. Powder snow is obviously less dramatic, but it adds a nice touch to the overall snow mechanics in the game. It behaves somewhat similar to a block of cobweb as it reduces fall damage to zero, but entities such as players and mobs slowly sink in blocks of snow. This can be easily countered by equipping leather boots, but perhaps Mojang will also top that by adding a useful enchantment when Caves & Cliffs update finally relea
The recent addition of the Minecraft Marketplace, which allows players to construct elaborate and outlandish alternate game modes for Minecraft and sell them to other fans, has broadened the horizons of the Minecraft community in a big way. The Marketplace has seen no end of creations, including a playable alternate version of Pac-Man . Compared to these experiences, the maps offered for the Community Celebration seem tame by comparison. They’ve also clearly had a lot of polish and thought put into them, though, and at the low price of free, Minecraft fans have little reason not to check them
Mojang Studios announced that, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, that Minecraft Earth will be receiving it’s final update and before being shut down in June 2021. The studio specifically points out that the game was designed with exploration and collaborative play in mind , two things that are very difficult to achieve in this day and age. Mojang has decided to allocate their resources to other projects they currently have in the works. In today’s update to the doomed game, they removed microtransactions altogether and made the in-game cost of many items much cheaper in an effort to make the game as accessible and fun as possible for fans who are still play
Dream has yet to comment on his social media platforms about the doxxing, but there luckily don’t seem to be any pictures of his face floating around the internet (yet), which hopefully means that no one has visited his home address. The tweet showing the picture of his kitchen has since been deleted, but the entire situation is a stark reminder that it doesn’t take much for the most obsessive of fans to figure out sensitive information thanks to the internet, and the more famous a streamer is, the more likely they are to be stalked. Doxxing has always been a serious issue in the gaming world and has affected major corporations and individual gamers alike, necessitating an extreme amount of caution for anyone with any level of internet prese
