This seems nearly impossible seeing as we’re almost at the 10-year anniversary of the game’s announcement, but I feel fairly positive Final Fantasy XV might at least launch in Japan by the time 2015 ends. The fact that we’re getting a gameplay demo in 2015, the large amount of gameplay trailers released in 2014, and the fact that the English voice-overs are already done is enough evidence to suggest we’ll be playing Final Fantasy XV sooner than later.
2015 is mere hours away, and I could not be more excited to say goodbye to 2014. A lot of things happened during the year that I liked, and a lot of things I didn’t. The games industry has plenty to prove after 2014 with numerous disastrous launches, delays and disappointments. Going forward into 2015 there are certain games I’d like to see announced, certain games launch, or specific things happen within the gaming industry. These are my wishes for the game industry; 15 for 2015.
Each and every GTA instalment has their fair share of lovable, but stupid characters. You know, the ones who cause more trouble than they’re worth, but we can’t stay angry at. Well, in GTA IV , they started to put a heavy social element into our main character’s life, helping to create a very realistic world in which you can hang out with the associates you’ve met along the way. This meant that a number of social mini-games became available to us. That being said, there was nothing more irritating than being constantly badgered by Roman about bowling, so much so that his irksome requests became somewhat of an internet joke. Think about it, you’re in the middle of a mission and your car is being peppered by bullets. You’re fully concentrated on taking down the enemy, only to be interrupted by “HEY COUSIN, IT’S ROMAN.” It’s absolutely infuriat
Expectations for Batman: Arkham Knight were already high before the game was delayed to June 2, 2015. Now, expectations are even higher. With all this extra time, we’re hoping for the most polished, visceral, and grand Batman experience ever. Batman: Arkham Knight looks set to meet these expectations thanks to a large amount of secrecy surrounding the game. Despite being a high profile game, Rocksteady has been very careful about how much information we get out of each trailer and press release. The story, Gotham City, the Arkham Knight and Scarecrow’s plans remain wrapped in secrecy, and it will be unwrapping those secrets that’s going to make Batman: Arkham Knight hard to put down.
I remember when my Dad brought home my first PlayStation, along with Final Fanstasy VII. I was so excited to be clutching that monster case containing 3 discs. In a Open world games guide where discs are becoming a thing of the past in favour of digital downloads, it seems crazy to think that any game created after 2010 would need anything like. This was not the case for L.A Noire on Xbox 360. Rockstar had put a lot of effort into their facial technology for this game, which was groundbreaking at the time, and it meant that actors would act scenes from the game to give a realistic feel to interviews in game, allowing us to judge their responses based on facial movements. This amount of data meant that the game had to span three discs on the Xbox format as they could not hold it on a single disc, unlike PlayStation who adopted the Blu-Ray disc format. Gamer’s became upset with having to swap discs throughout the game, questioning whether this technology was worth spending mass amounts of money on when facial animators could have done a similar job. We all enjoy a smooth running game experience and this is exactly what Xbox players didn’t
Today, the launch of League of Legends is old news, and so we sit and play the game, waiting for new champions to be released. Whenever we’re not playing, what better way to feel the time than to look at League of Legends comics that all of us crazed fans will instantly connect
After a few days John is good enough to start helping around on the ranch like any gunslinger who recently received a near fatal wound would. Before too long John is working with the US Marshalls and some other interesting characters. In the same vein as Grand Theft Auto, John ends up doing odd jobs for these varied characters to help form an alliance for another go at Fort Mercer. This second attempt goes better, except in victory it turns out Williamson is a cowardly bastard who fled to Mexico. This seems bad, but this also means that Mexico is unlocked and border crossing was much easier a little over a century ago.
Anyone who has ever tried to get someone (especially a non-gamer) into League, knows this struggle. Their number one problem is that they don’t understand turrets. They will literally fall over and over again for months. This is a problem, and it frustrates them to no end. But their out of character cursing and yelling is worth it. How often are they calm, cool, and collected? How often have they told you to stop yelling because it’s just a game? For them to finally understand your pain could do wonders for your relations
Red Dead Redemption 2 Review: Attention To Detail Makes It An Instant Classic

The other side of the loot pool is the now titled “Illuminated Engrams” (previously Bright Engrams) which drop all sorts of cosmetic goodies and sometimes an exotic ship, sparrow or Ghost. Bungie is sticking to their guns with how these engrams function — aside from the debacle of XP gain — a minor complaint comes against it. With so many new cosmetics, mainly shaders, why can’t these items be locked like armor or weapons? Why can’t they be deleted in mass? Having to systemically break-down shaders one by one is tedious and a waste of time. No one wants to sit around and delete 65 bland shaders, “wooo, look how much fun I’m having.”

Its recoil is ridiculous, making its handling hard, and taking the quality of the weapons itself into consideration, it’s not worth the hassle. Of course, this weapon is not a giant fail, it’s perfectly usable, but more experienced players will soon realize that most of the time it’s in fact, usel However, if you want…
