The perfect mix between rifle and SMG, the UMP is a great jack of all trades. The UMP is the gun to buy when you can’t afford a full rifle, but you need to fight against them. While other SMGs like the MP9 fall off at longer ranges, the UMP gives the user a fighting…
In April, a map leaked online, claiming to be the setting for the Red Dead sequel. This has yet to be confirmed, but if it is true, there is a possibility this could be a tie-in with a recently released Take-Two Interactive-published title, Mafia I The Wild West is the perfect setting for Rockstar’s Director…
Max Payne is a name familiar to gamers everywhere. The series follows the main character Max Payne, a former DEA agent, on his revenge mission against drug dealers who murdered his wife and child. It wasn’t until the third instalment in the series that Rockstar fully took over its publication, with our hero now working…
Assassin’s Creed: Victory was rudely outed December 2014 as the next Assassin’s Creed game, and there’s one thing everyone is thinking right now; please don’t be like Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Unity was a broken wreck at launch. Riddled with bugs, glitches, a Co-Op feature that barely works, and a continuously dipping framerate, Unity is the…

Although some of the optional missions do not necessarily have much to do with the main storyline, they still intertwine enough to shape…
The third movie gets a lot of flack, but I love it. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for this Sega Genesis game. First of all, it’s oddly dark. That screenshot isn’t washed out either. In fact, I had to brighten it up to make it look like that. Gameplay wise it’s a series of…
While this could turn out to be a good thing, it could also be a sign of bad things brewing in the background. Rockstar is spinning a lot of different plates, but Grand Theft Auto V released in 2013, and the company needs to get a game out the door to stay relevant. Hopefully, Red…
Red Dead Redemption 2 brings with it new realistic gameplay mechanics for maintaining Arthur’s well-being. Failing to eat for a few hours results in Arthur becoming hungry and sluggish. Horses must be groomed and cared for in order to be most effective for speed and travel. While this sim-style element might seem like a chore,…

Max Payne 3 generally did well upon release, gaining favourable reviews. However, one problem which stuck out among many of its fans was the length of its cut scenes. The game contained over three hours worth of cut scenes. While some people do enjoy the cinematic experiences games can bring, the fact that the majority…
