It’s always exhilarating to unlock a new area in Genshin Impact . Dragonspine introduced many new quests as well as puzzles for travelers to solve and earn various rewards. The Lost in Snow quest is all about helping a small child, Joel, find his father.

Players are free to experiment knowing they’ll likely be rewarded, for no matter how wild the idea, if it makes logical sense, it will probably work. It also provides a great deal of immersion that makes exploring Hyrule an unforgettable experie

Personally speaking though, I’m still waiting for a way to reroll Artifacts substats. Forget the gacha drop rates, the Resin, or “lack of content”. This is by far the most annoying aspect of the g

Due to its ‘live game’ nature, new story quests are added in updates too, the most recent being the ‘ Invitation of Windblume ‘ released in March. Essentially, Genshin Impact gives players a lot more story to explore than Breath of the Wild and makes it a more important part of the games as a wh

Once at the marked location, you should find several water creatures that would be familiar to anyone who has fought Rhodeia the Oceanid. You will need to equip Endora as a gadget now in order to progress.

Strangely enough, miHoYo has yet to publish the Q&A in Japanese, nor in English. Usually the Japanese version of the Q&A is up only a few hours after the Chinese one. With that said, Japanese fans have partly translated the Q&A from Chinese to Japanese, hence why I could share those deta

Updated July 10, 2025, by Nahda Nabiilah: While heading towards Dragonspine from the warmth of the nearby camp, you will encounter a small boy named Joel with a blue mark above his head, indicating a quest in Genshin Impact . After promising him to find his father, players must find three hidden camps and then report back to Joel to complete the Lost in Snow quest.

In the past, miHoYo has already listened and increased the max Original Resin limit. The max limit for Condensed Resin was also upped from 3 to 5 in Ver 1.4 . As such, while some players claim miHoYo only cares about the Chinese playerbase, I think that’s simply not true seeing these chan

Players need to head for one of the father’s last known locations near the Statue of the Seven in Dragonspine . Travelers who have unlocked the statue before can spawn there directly. If not, they will have to jump down a cliff and head into a small cave. After defeating any enemies around the camp, find the neatly written note by Joel’s father. It claims that he believes the weather conditions to be good and wants to break for the summit.

To finish the quest, travel back to the Statue of the Seven and walk toward the waypoint. There will be a breakable stone wall covering Joel’s father’s last camp, revealing his unfortunate fate. Report to Joel about what happened to his father to complete the Lost in Snow quest and receive the following rewards:

There should be another similar camp on the player’s left-hand side. Occasionally, a powerful Hilichurl does spawn here , so be careful and defeat it before investigating the note. It will state that a powerful storm forced Joel’s father to lose half of his supplies and hide in a cave downhill.

This interactive map lets you “mark as found” the Anemoculus and Geoculus you’ve collected. This way, you can slowly remove them from the map as you collect them. However, this function is only available by signing in on the Interactive Map. You can sign in with google.

To trigger the Lost in Snow quest in Genshin Impact , head to the camp northeast of Dragonspine, by the border of the snowy mountain. Find a little boy called Joel, who will ask players to find his lost father. The last place Joel remembers seeing his father is in the Dragonspine region of Genshin Impact , which features brutally cold, mountainous terrain.

Open up the Wishful Drops event panel in Genshin Impact , and activate “Endora’s Education.” This will mark a location on the map. Do note that during the course of the event, there will five such exploration areas.

That is not the end of the Wishful Drops event in Genshin Impact just yet. Now you will have to face the Oceanid Rhoedia in a new challenge. Head to the spot where you once fought the elite, and you can see a new pillar to activate.

If you’ve just started Genshin Impact , it’s likely you haven’t fully explored the two regions currently in-game. Mondstadt and Liyue. This would mean you haven’t collected all Anemoculus and Geoculus yet.
